CEOpower exists because I spent twenty years in the chair and learned — repeatedly — that the role outgrows the person in it.
I’m Adrienne Stevens. I’ve been a President or CEO five times, across Fortune 500 public companies, private companies, and family-held businesses. I’ve led organizations through growth, transformation, restructuring, and the kind of high-stakes decisions you can only really understand once you’ve been the one making them.
In every one of those seats, I ran into the same ceiling: more priorities than time, more operational drag than any one leader can absorb, and no one in the organization with the altitude or experience to take real work off my plate. Advisors gave me decks. Consultants gave me recommendations. What I actually needed was someone who had already done the job — and could just run the priority that was stalled.
That person didn’t exist as a service I could hire.
So I built it.
CEOpower is the firm I wish I’d had access to in every CEO role I held: a curated network of former CEOs who embed in your business and execute. Not advice. Not frameworks. Execution, delivered by people who have already sat where you sit.

Three convictions shape how CEOpower operates. They're worth naming, because they explain why our work looks different from a consultant's, a coach's, or a fractional exec marketplace's.
Leadership doesn't need more advice. It needs more leverage. The market is saturated with people who will tell a CEO what to do. The shortage is in senior operators who will own a priority and move it. We own the second category.
Only a former CEO can hold a CEO's priority. Judgment at the top is unlike any other layer of leadership. We don't deploy bright generalists, MBA graduates, or rising-star operators. Every CEOpower Integrator has already held the title of President or CEO. They don't need to be coached up to the work.
Embedded beats advisory. Real change happens inside the rhythm of the business — the meetings, the calls, the unglamorous follow-through. We integrate into your operating cadence rather than parachuting in and out. That's where the value compounds.
Most of our work doesn’t appear on this website. CEOs hire us during transitions, restructurings, succession events, and growth phases when discretion matters as much as execution. We operate under NDA by default, and most of our clients prefer that we don’t name them publicly. The case studies you don’t see are, in many ways, the point.
Every member of the CEOpower network has been a President or CEO. Most have led through growth phases, transitions, or transformations directly comparable to what our clients are navigating. They bring diverse industry backgrounds — manufacturing, food and beverage, professional services, family business, industrial, consumer — and deep functional expertise across strategy, operations, communications, and people.
What unites them isn’t a credential. It’s the lived experience of carrying a P&L, a board, and a team simultaneously — and knowing what it takes to actually move work through an organization at that altitude.
